J.B.C.: I was honestly surprised at the show of support I received. Many of the people who wrote to me did so privately because they support George W. Bush for president. (Although I still wonder how many of these people just wanted me to remain because I provide them "sport.") I, in return, am honoring their request for privacy. I shall not name names.

By the way, AP just moved a story tonight saying Gore should receive the Teamsters endorsement tomorrow. After the voting via teleconference, Hoffa will be in New York for a campaign event with Hillary Rodham Clinton. Seems a little unlikely that the Teamsters would endorse GWB and then Hoffa would campaign for Hillary.

I PM'd him.

I responded to his PM where he answered my public prods on why he was cowering away like a typical liberal.

I'd like to see him stay, as he provides the other side in not such a stupid way as Murali (or whatever his fake name is). He's a little thin skinned, but aren't all libs?
