<font color=green>CNNFN 9/6/00 - 10:55 AM... say that. I still like it. It wasn't. It was one analyst and we spoke to him yesterday, i thought he made some good points. I still think the chip sector generally is in good shape. Look at companies like amd and i'm looking at intel. I am looking to accumulate intel with these levels. I think it will probably do well. He didn't downgrade it to a hold to a sell, he downgraded it to a buy to outperform or strong buy. Generally, i think the chipmakers are going to do well. I think the real story is 6, 12, 18 months from now when the high end chips come out. I disagree with him to the extent they do think the margins will be better than maybe when he's forecasting.

This guys got his head screwed on.

Milo

Frank, Frank, Frank...what in tarnation are you doing?

Jim-
Have you been over on the moderated thread? I was referring to the usual spate of "Why is AMD down on an Intel downgrade?" "Life is not fair" and "It would perhaps not be inaccurate to postulate that the buying public has finally caught on" whine, whine, whine.
Sure, guys like you and Ted and plenty of others can read but a lot of others only see what they want to see.
