RR & JW:

2.) A pullback now, but again, nothing terribly bad like 3650 stuff. Rather, just something to shack the trees for awhile. Then a gradual climb to 5000 to year end. Up a little, then back, up a little, then back.

With everybody and his brother (Barton Biggs excepted) figuring NASDAQ 5000 by year end, I would expect people to start piling in immediately after this shakeout is over, based on context of good economy, election, and weaker earnings already factored in. Sort of like how the y2k rally started in October last year.

Money Where Mouth Is: During the shakeout climax (tmrw probably), I plan to put 20% of my options budget into e.g. NTAP/MERQ/EXDS October calls at strikes about at their highs of last week. Quick double or triple in the next couple of weeks if I'm right.

Just an opinion.
