The issue is whether we believe "we are all in this together". Dividing and vilifying classes of people is not what we need as a nation. The business person is just as important as the union trash worker. Bill Gates is just as important as the union teacher. We all have a role to play, we all influence our nation. We all matter. Gore divides Americans! He creates class envy, anger and resentment toward people who are financially successful. He foments hatred by attempting to convince his constituents (such as yourself) that wealthy people attained their wealth at the expense of someone else. He pretends (like a lot of socialists) that the economic pie is of a fixed size, and must be divided instead of enlarged in order to be fair. The paradigm Gore lives in is dangerous to the future of free men. Freedom means expanding the pie, believing that anyone can become economically successful, that anyone can become President, that anyone can become the next man or women on the moon. Al Gore lives in a mental model dominated by elitism. Growing up with a silver spoon and living life from one limousine to the next has jaded his perceptions of reality. He thinks he is better than anyone else. That he's part of the ruling class who needs to make decisions for the great unwashed ignorant masses. Unfortunately, many Americans (like yourself), have bought into this deterministic paradigm. And feel like you're a victim of someone or something else. That you don't have control of your life. That you need big brother to keep the perpetrators at bay. So you vote for Gore, or someone like him, in order to asuage your fears. And our freedom gets slowly but steadily eroded.
