Correction: short skinny strings. I use the term "foam" because people find that easier to visualize. We are all in a state of Quantum Barbasol.

Actually that's old thinking; Just like the thinking that believes mortar is designed to hold bricks together. Actually, it keeps them apart...just as the universe keeps strings from getting tangled. So there!
