I have yet to get to the symantec patch. I stopped having the shut down problems when I stopped using end it all before shutting down. When I get a chance I will take a look. Thread Has anyone used this search tool? gurunet.com; I had shutdown problems with win98. Tried the 98 shutdown patch and have had no trouble since. If you still want to use enditall you might try protecting apps individually and you might find the stubborn offender. I have used gurunet for months...never a problem and very handy.
