Gore has certainly solicited the support of working people across America based on his record and the fact that he was a member of a labor union earlier in his career. Just this past Labor Day weekend, while Bush was calling people assholes, Gore was meeting with steelworkers in Pennsylvania and listening to their concerns. Yes, I think it would be helpful if I compared each candidate's positions on some key labor issues such as pension protection and striker replacement. I'm not sure I'll get to it tonight. Just keep a lookout for it.
