Chris, I can't see that big speakers will have much to do with Globalstar. The way I see it working is somebody uploads a request from their Globalstar phone to the Globalstar constellation.

The MP3 sound and porn ['music' video] is downloaded to your phone from the high data rate geo satellites [or whichever do the fast, cheap stuff]. Your phone [in a few generations] stores that video and music which is then Bluetoothed to your Earcells[TM] which are in-the-ear hearing aids by Phonak, or equivalent, and to your retinal illumination wearable vision control system. We'll get full sterephonic 3D experiences.

Later versions will have Cochlear implants for perfect sound. I can't imagine replacement of the retina as the nerve input but I suppose it's possible.
