Mike: I've always understood that maxpain was most meaningful the closer one gets to expiration. It could have some influence (particularly with a disproportionately large position) in the week before expiration week, but this would be a much weaker influence on price. In any event, I'd love to see HGSI put in the right shoulder, because (unfortunately) I don't have a position in it at the moment.
