I used to trade Barrick. Last night I was re-reading Market Wizards and the comment was made that gold runs up maybe three or four times in a century...and that one must have patience. I know this well. I began buying gold (silver too) futures back in the early 70's. It was SO obvious. But the market's didn't really catch fire until '79. I think we need another inflationary period for gold to take off again. It'll happen, 'cause governments love to inflate. But I suspect it's still early. (Lee)
