I agree about LU... but with over 3 billion shares floated, that aircraft carrier doesn't move too quickly anymore... it turns oh, so veeeery slowly then would sprint for 3 -4 days, get very tired and sleep for a long time.

nokomis -- LU: If LU manages to meet expectations one of these quarters, it's going to go off to the races. It's such a prime play on so many critical technologies, but obviously has shredded itself with its inability to guide the Street. I picked some up for the long-term accounts on its recent dip under 40, and plan to buy a lot more if it survives the pre-announcement season.

BTW, I've been thinking the same way as you about gold heading into October, especially if it looks like the stock market will be weak. One more gold play to consider is AU.

NETS and NEOF...both strong today on high volume. This would explain some of NEOF move.
