Hi all; Extreme hardware weighs in on the Micron / Rambus lawsuit:

While these two lawsuits aren't exactly the best news for gamers, Micron has decided to let Lucifer (aka RAMBUS) have it with both guns. They are essentially asserting that certain RAMBUS patents on memory technology are unenforceable, a fact that's pretty evident to anyone that doesn't own RAMBUS stocks. Micron also isn't like Toshiba or other companies who are signing profitable side-deals with RAMBUS, and then paying back royalties for SDRAM and DDR-SDRAM production. If this case does indeed progress, I expect it to be a barn-burner with almost all the PC industry up against RAMBUS. With all the potential technological espionage and legerdemain RAMBUS is suspected of, maybe they should sell the pay-per-view TV rights?
