I say that NTAP is not for sale based on my knowledge of some of the personalities involved. Also, knowing the history of Don Valentine, the Chm of the Board, etc., I am as certain as I can be that selling the company is not in their minds. Growing the company as fast as they can, while maintaining their margins, and dominating their market(s) is their goal. Period.

Perhaps a hostile takeover could be engineered. Perhaps a ridiculous offer that they could not refuse could appear. I consider these to be extremely unlikely unless the stock price collapses. A collapse would be the result of a failure in execution toward their goals. Of course that could happen, but I have no fear of that at this time.
