Jeff,

As an example, yesterday VECO closed down about 10 points [76 from 86], or -13%. This morning, VECO is currently up 14 [92 from 76], or +15%.

What does it mean when a company can lose 13% of its value one day, and gain 15% of its value the next on no news or fundamental corporate changes?

**STOCK MANIPULATION** comes to mind. Either that, or investors are absolutely crazy. I don't know what else to think.

MSFT. Money flow is very very positive. Block flow is positive. MSFT trading higher. Some people talk of a possible settlement with DOJ.

CORRECTION: 12:30 pm Microsoft denies the rumors that it is in the process of settling with DOJ. MSFT +1 to $70 1/2

12:25 pm National Semiconductor (NSM) reports Q1 profit of 76 cents per share, a dime better than the estimates. NSM +1 1/2 to $46. Trading is still halted.
