It has been a really busy couple of weeks. My mom had to be hospitalized with dizziness and weakness, fell down a couple of times, and was totally out of it. THis was two weeks ago. It was 4 weeks after the radiation treatments were finished. 90% cure rate is the norm and she appeared to be fine until the weakness, etc started. They looked for all kinds of viruses, bacteria, etc and found nothing so finally a CT revealed possible spots on the liver. Biopsy was done and confirmed metastasis, so she started chemotherapy after being hospitalized for falling again at home last Friday. So it has been a pretty difficult time for everybody. Now she's going to get chemo for a while and if the only cancer is still the Hodgkins that they think is in there, the cure rate for chemo is 80%. Good thing it isn't non-Hodgkins, because the cure rate is much lower.

Hard to get too worried about work or stocks or football lately.

My dog was raised by adult cats. I think we could get a kitten and Princess would take great care of it. My problem would be the cat, Scout, who would not take too kindly to a kitten.
