Re: More comments on SLDRAM and thieving cartel

If Infineon, Micron, etc. dig in and fight, Rambus is looking at flat annual earnings of around 25 cents per share for the next couple of years. After that, it's worth about what it's selling for now if they win, and less than a dollar if they lose.

RDRAM flat out isn't being used except for PS2 and a few switches - and you've already seen the earnings from those businesses, and the 820/840 chipsets. The 820 was the big user, and it's been all but eliminated.

There will be a few hundred thousand P4s sold this year (maybe), and a few hundred thousand more in Q1 of next year. After that, non RDRAM chipsets for P4 will be available.

It's way too soon for this stock to be selling for much more than $10.
