That's why I think it's best to buy these stocks on weakness. It's difficult with stocks like NTAP & EXDS since they can easily correct as much as 25% off their high. But I have also found (with the exception of a couple of "lucky" buys) it is nearly impossible to find the "bottom". You will get whipsawed jumping in and out if you try to time your entry that perfectly. If the stock really IS LTB&H for you (meaning imo, the fundamentals keep improving for the co) you should be willing to give the stock some "leeway" as to it's corrective phase.

I've been a close follower/trader of NTAP for a while, too, and I think it'll retrace. Amazing--it was 45 in April/May, and it traded up to 120 the last few days--that's practically a triple.

When it plunges, it does so suddenly and mightiliy, and swiftly recovers.
