But the analysts are supposed to be the Informers so some can make an intelligent decision. I dont care if they are wrong, only if they are honest with us with their opinions. They supposedly are trained to understand what most of us cannot or do not have the time for. Not everyone can be as intelligent as some Amat threaders. For instance do you own any stock in a company or industry you are not fully up on? I have bought stocks on an idea or as a momentum play when market was rewarding that mode of investment. I dont always feel i know each company intimately and if an analyst comes out and says vaccine wont work and i sell the stock and it is shown that that analyst said his piece with no knowledge or facts, i think jail would be a good place for him.
