Rande,

First let me say how much I like your thread. Have not posted to you yet, although I did bring NETS to Mark last week.

As it is your thread I'd like to formally introduce myself, and ask your leave to lurk about, and post on occasion.

Also, as you seem to wear a strong fundamental suit, would you look at PXLW for me. It is another of my favorites.

Best, kurt

Rande: thanks for your response; I watched the NTAP on Level II and it just seemed to get stronger, so I deferred on this put play; some people I respect are very strong long term on the stock, but I also saw this as a overbought situation short term, in a stock that has big moves.
Thanks for your earlier call on short squeeze on CRDS; I had never looked at this type of play before your explanation of the beaten down short cover phenomenon; bought at low 8's afterhours and sold at 11; now it's really taking off<gggg>.
But like you say, Profit Often.
Thanks,
James

Naz futures were up 95 an hour ago when I checked.
Bear Sterns is predicting $20 a barrel oil within a tear.
This market might just rally when we least expect it (as usual). Did you cover yet, Rande? heh heh

Rande,

RE: NTAP short. Yes, it was strong yesterday and there's definitely better plays out there. However, one thing that should bring a level of confidence in this short is the recent insider selling, including the CFO. Maybe they realize this is getting a little toppy. biz.yahoo.com

The stock is also approaching a double top so setting a buy stop at either 120 or 124 will limit my loss to less than 10%.

bazan
