My theory is that analysts were considering the effect of LU's softness on companies like SDL and some, specifically Jim Jungjohann, published in-house cautionary comments.

I also suspect their cautions got the desired result and when the Nas rebounded, they began to add.

Interesting since LU is not among SDL's 10% customers and certainly ranks behind Alcatel, Tyco, Nortel and Siemens. In fact, didn't LU sell its undersea business to Tyco a couple years ago? My history's a little rusty, but I think that may be right.

I'm long stock too but picked up some Jan 02 70 LEAPS...@65...seems like a good play at half the stock price
