IMO, this was the first of several positive press releases that will send the stock much higher between now and the end of the year. Here are the things that I'm waiting for, not in any particular order. Dental gum contract with a large consumer products company. My guess is it is either P&G (Crest) or Colgate. Release of the preventative clinical study for Zicam. If positive as I expect, this news should send the stock significantly higher. Partnership for Gel Tech with a large pharmaceutical company that sells cough & cold products. My guess is that they are in talks with Warner Lambert, now owned by Pfizer. International distribution of Zicam. One or more analysts initiate coverage with a buy rating. A name change for the company to indicate their focus on drug delivery systems rather than gum. New members added to the Board of Directors. I believe that one or more of the new Board members will come from the partner for Gel Tech. Publication of Dr. Hirt's study on the therapeutic benefits of Zicam. I believe that all of this will happen between now and the end of the year. I'm also expecting sales in the fourth quarter to exceed last year's sales, and their fourth quarter profit to exceed last year's. Sales of nicotine gum should begin in the first quarter of 2001, so the seasonality of the stock should be moderated. I don't think that nicotine gum will be profitable in the first quarter of production, but I do think that the gum business will be profitable in the second quarter of nicotine gum production. The gum business should also be profitable once they start selling dental gum to the new partner. IMO, this will also occur in the first or second quarter of next year. It has been a long wait for me and others with this stock, and I have ridden out the ups and downs (although not with a full position). I think that our wait is getting ready to pay off in a big way. JMO, and luck to all. Dan
