OT,
Hi!!

RE: Kemble-Having DELL at this price is like being able to buy it in Sept of 1996-WIN 2000 will really hurt the UNIX based software boys IMO.MSFT and DELL will be out of their dark years again -I hope.Maybe wishful thinking but I see it that way.

I believe likewise...
.Been reading again about some of these DELL initiatives/alliances.....Most of them are but months old....Interestingly I believe the services that Kevin Rollins discussed last summer/fall and the possible figures that Sig alluded to ...from Kevin's comments.....are IMO an incredible strategy....That $365 billion market for infrastructure and it's support by 2003 that Jim Schneider has predicted....Or I should say Schneider said: "imagine DELL being just 10% of that extended market"....It was IDC's prediction ....Well, anyhow it's hard to place a value on these strategies but let's face it...DELL's customer relationships and past knowledge gives it an incredible opportunity....Just perhaps the rumors I heard awhile back that DELL planned on growing at some of their old rates is not unfeasible given the development of these new services...

Best, Kemble
