Hans, if you go to the "stock analyzer" under VIEW and put in a symbol you will see all the abbreviations spelled out (although I'm not sure where you found MC) with an analysis for that stock.

GRT = growth rate & RT = relative timing.

Hans,

GRT = Growth Rate (1 to 3 year forecast expressed as a whole percent; proprietary number)

MC = Market Cap (in millions)

RT = Relative Timing (range from 0.0 to 2.0, where 0.0 is least timely and 2.0 is most timely and 1.0 is average)

EPS = Earnings Per Share (leading 12 month forecast expressed as decimal dollars and cents per share; proprietary number)

Hans, the ranking may seem unusual. As growth rate is expressed in a percentage it overpowers relative timing as a factor. I took relative timing to the fourth power to try to get it into the double digits. Hence the ranking value of RT*RT*RT*RT*GRT.

Perhaps it should be to the the fifth.

In another study there seemed to be some value in using a longer term relative strength, particularly if one uses a market timing signal to help reduce the pull backs.
