Saw news from the MPPP board on MPEG-4

MP4 IS COMING - MPPP might be involved!!!

There is talk about a new Napster-like software which will have the ability to share Video-streaming files over the internet. MPEG Supersite (MPSS) which has been quietly revamping its operations has proprietary MP4 (MPEG-4) technology which will take over the internet as the hottest format for sharing video files.

Just look at this BBC News story at mp4news.cjb.net

The rumor is that this new software will not only serve as a client/server but will actually allow video previewing as it is downloading. This type of software will allow internet users to become their own TV stations or movie production houses. It will basically turn every computer into a TV with millions of channels!

On the new management team is the former president of Mikasa, the famous Japanese company which is one of the biggest chinaware companies in the world. Go to the Mikasa website and click on Investor Relations -Corporate Information and you will see that MPEG Supersite president is a Board member!

MPSS is currently trading on the OTC-BB at around $0.15 with a float of just 3.3 million shares. Those are incredible numbers when compared to $50 plus companies on the NAZ.

There is also talk of a buyout of the company by MP3.com (MPPP) which is trading around $8 on the NASDAQ. MP3.com was once a $100+ stock and it could reach those levels again with new MPEG video streaming technology in their backpocket.

Check their website at www mpegsupersite com which is ready to launch in Sept. If there ever was a time to get into a stock off the heels of the Napster ruling, this is it! And with Broadband (cable, DSL and wireless) becoming commonplace, we could see triple digits before the end of this year!! This is not a recommendation in any way of MPSS and I am not paid in any form by MPSS. Just a rumor I heard from a reliable source.
