Having read the GTR, I'm not convinced that this chip will upsurp the network processor. "EZ Chip's team comes from the networking industry rather than the chip industry. Their previous project implemented Token Ring networks, which were elegant in concept but succumbed to the superior robustness and momentum of the ethernet." It almost reads that this team wasn't a network success so they started making chips. Sound harsh, but I would like to see some more DD on this technology. Jack
