DS, Thanks! I am almost always confused about something so don't start apologizing for it! You may not be able to stop! By the way, somehow I got subscribed (accidentally) to The Industry Standard (I think it was earned frequent flier miles but I soooo hate to fly that I spend them on magazines all the time). Anyway, I am always saying that it is a worthless magazine but I was surprised this week by two articles on optical stocks that I own and a short piece on storage that mentioned NTAP. The gist of the article is that data is exploding and expect online storage to expand at 80-100% for the next 5+ years. Apparently they are measuring it in Exabytes (10^18) and expect to measure it in Zetabytes (10^21) by 2005.
