"perhaps christian doctrine needs some re~thinking then"

It would be to presumtuous of me to attempt such a thing, as I am not a christian. If you are a christian who believes, the doctrine is God's doctrine and that it is clear to interpretation, you must follow it. Obviously you don't carry such a belief.

"Or you/we need to define what is meant by "Innocence"? You can give it a shot if you want. Innocence seems like a fairly straight forward term that is universally understood. I am a Muslim. We believe people are born innocent.

"Can I assume that you do advocate the protection from murder those life forms other than human?" Now see... here you have ever so slightly adapted the word murder in a way that does not apply. Why do you think that is necessary? It gives the perception of deception. Murder is a term that has always meant the unjust killing of one human being by another. This makes me a little suspicious.

Oh well, I'll give it a try. Yes I advocate caring for and protecting all innocent creatures. Having said that, I must add that it wouldn't bother me in the slightest to dig up and destroy the grass and all the worms and buggies in my front yard and replacing them with a zeroscape lawn. I have no problem with the death penalty for people deserving it either. I, however, do not think we have strict enough guidelines to convict a person for a crime that mandates the death penalty. No less than 4 fully credible eye witnesses should be the minimum acceptable evidence.

Someday the Repubs will realize they will not gain the support of women until they allow a woman to control her own body.
Women will carry Gore to the Whitehouse, just as they did Clinton. Alan Simpson gets it, W doesn't.
