I can see it tanking 10-20%.

Just depends upon what the hell AMD management is up to.

They are generating roughly $300M/qtr in cash right now from ops.

So by year end they should have $1.5Bn plus in cash.

If they are planning for a new fab at say a cost of $2bn or so.

They will likely get investment credits and investment is much less than $250Mn/Qtr so they can fund from ongoing activities.

It therefore is likely to be for an acquisition.

And companies who acquire invariably see their stock suffer short term due to arbitrage.

Very strange filing actually, as they have $400M++ available on previous shelf filing.
