Mezz,

A second poster has posted that they communicated with the company that was hired by Hayseed to refurbish the rig(Morinoak of the UK).

ragingbull.altavista.com

Tyson, THANK YOU! I have heard from Morinoak. Sorry folks, but Tyson, Sharpsword, Percy, Nit, etc. ARE RIGHT! YOU AIN"T GONNA GET NO OIL with NO RIG. Simple. FINI. Sayoara. Aloha. Zip, Nada, Zilch.
Maybe later, another company, another rig.
YOU CAN'T GET THE OIL WITHOUT A RIG. NESS DOES NOT, REPEAT, Ness does NOT HAVE A RIG.

READ ON: I believe Hayseed is sincere and really wants to pull this off, he may at some point, GOD WILLING. So this is not a bash. Try to separate fact from your hopes and emotions, folks. They don't have a rig. If they announce they have a rig, I will shout for joy and buy some more, you bet. And Tyson, may I say God bless you and ALL THE NESSIES. But you still NEED A RIG!

Regards,
John Sladek

Mezz,

And here's a third poster:

ragingbull.altavista.com
On Thursday 8/7/00
I Posted that I would contact Mike Smith at Morinoak
the "Rig Refurbisher" and Inform Tyson and Other Posters
on the Response...
Well I must say that I was diappointed in Mr smith's response
IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD... The rig was basicaly left there
due to lack of payments, and is current being sold to
another company which according to Mr Smith has NO TIES
to NESS. -- EGADS :( ---
This statement along with the
fact that NESS knew of these problems since DEC. 99
Informs me that something smells "fishy";

Regards,
John Sladek
