Energy Costs..

Who here is surprised by Duponts news? I doubt anyone. I was interested in IP & GP as intermediate term plays, but these are energy intensive companies who will sing the energy cost blues as well.

BP Pledges $4bln Investment in North Sea to 2004

See the SLB article this morning. Is SCSWF a good candidate for this type of award? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Seems the checkered flag has been waved and the capex boom is underway with CHV in the spectator seats.

Today will test my theory. As I have stated in prior posts the OSX is on a CLIFF w/ crude at 35-36. This morning crude is very soft down .90 with all other distillites. Lets just watch and see how OSX holds up today coming off a soft to flat day yesterday.

I expect a 1-2 point corrections per stock at a minimum, and the downside if there is one could get exhasberated on Monday after OPEC meeting and Tues-wends with increase in API 3's.

If all goes as planned I will be covered 60-70% of shorts by the end of next week.

Good luck all, trying to time my long positions for earnings announcements, I expect LARGE UPSIDE surprises!
