Bruce, the info that JNPR was 32.5 at the end of the 1st day IPO was from Money Magazine, June, or July.

Assuming that figure to be correct, that would allow one to purchase 1,000 shares for $32,500. After a 3-1 and 2-1 splits, 6,000 shares at the closing of $216 on 9/8/00, would have given the $1.3 million figure.
