According to my ISP, COVD won't do business with them. (And, presumably, other ISPs.) They've told them: no new accounts.

They (my ISP) are now offering service only through Rythms, at a lower cost.

Maybe there was some squabble with my ISP, but the sense I got was that COVD was no longer interested in dealing with ISPs, or at least not medium-sized local ones.
