Tie,

The major difference between SanDisk flash and AMD/Intel flash is that AMD/Intel is embedded, SanDisk makes removable flash cards. SanDisk flash cards are used in digital cameras, MP3 players, PDA's and soon cell phones, games and other devices. They are a consumer product, where as AMD/Intel flash is a component product.

As for specifications between AMD and Intel, I'm no expert, maybe someone else can comment.
