O/T (rather long):

i have to vent. just spent 1 hr with td and they explained my "missed" on stop sell to me this way:

i place my on-stop at 42.65 for gle at 12:03 while the shares were trading between 42.75-43.00.

by the time they got it the price had fallen to 42.50, below my on-stop price. because it is a not system trade, but a manual one, they put the order in a book to be looked at later...NO ONE CHECKED THE DAMN BOOK!!! (they didn't tell me that, though).

since the price continued to fall my sell wasn't triggered. the shares closed at 41.80.

they said they would sell it for me now, at 40.00, if i wanted. i was going to tell the rep where to go but refrained from doing so.

that's it for me today.
