dmf, too bad that the IDC's of the world, who absolutely do their homework, are so much less influential than the Kurlaks were and the Kumars are. So, the standard excuse I hear why the analysts are so influential is because the average affluent investor that's been out to the Hamptons lately, has no clue about high tech happenings. So, subscribe to IDC and Gartner, and a couple of the semi ones, like the sources of the articles we've seen here lately. Look at the San Jose Mercury News on line. The entire business section is available there every day! Join SI, for crying out loud. Well, the idealist in me lives on, I guess. Tony
