re: NPTU-yes, spread is bad. But if the do a quality RM, the spread will not matter IMHO.

Remember - there is no guarantee that there will be a reverse merger . . . they are looking.

When there are ugly spreads like that, if it's something I like, I generally go in and sit on the bid. Surprising how often you can get lucky.

You do need some volume though, to catch a sell. I think the MM's sometimes just cross the orders.
