Good explanation. Now, I wonder who that might have been and how this entity might guard its investment. I reviewed the call/put open interest and do not see any significant increase in puts today. Also noticed that only 766 open interest contracts for Sept 20 calls. I thought this had been ranging around 2500 - 3000. Anyone else recall number this has been recently? If so what happened to 2000 contracts. Obviously, I am not an options expert. If anyone could shed some light on this it would help me learn.
