Hi C26

Struggling with some of the same questions you are. Have been considering LRCX, KLIC, NSM...just don't know if they'll be cheaper in the coming weeks.

Difficult decisions...just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in your struggle.

I'd like to think KLIC would only go down to the 13 range, just like it did on the earlier announcement, but it's hard to tell where the bottom would be on another warning. The market doesn't seem to care how far down companies already are -- recall the multiple legs down in CTXS when it was collapsing. Or NTSL, another good company. It seems ridiculous, but I worry about KLIC going to 8-10 on a follow-up warning.

Did you see SCMR rocket up about two seconds after my earlier post? <G>

I'm worried about a warning-season slump in the market -- am pretty convinced we're going to be in for a rough September and early October. Two stocks I'd just love to get cheap on a selloff are AMD and MACR. There's chatter that Transmeta is going to take out AMD after it comes public and has the currency. And one of these days investors are going to realize that MACR should be valued like RNWK: a software company that also is an entertainment portal with more than a hundred million registered users in its database. I hope the Shockwave spinoff will wake people up to the hidden value in MACR (after a dip into the 40s!).

Then again, I could just put all my money into NTRS and play golf all the time. It kissed 87 today--.

C26 - I think he was talking about SCRM not SCMR - at least that's what he typed in his message to you
