I'm very interested in your views on SNDK. I see them as a potential Gorilla in the bowling alley with a number of tornados on the immediate horizon. The open question remains to be seen whether they can control the flash architecture (or the architecture of systems enabled by flash) going forward. In my mind, the answer will result in either a primate or royalty structure and SNDK will become either a Gorilla or King if they continue to execute.

I think the discussion is focusing on chimps that have no possibility of becoming a gorilla. I wouldn't charactize SanDisk as having no possibility of becoming the gorilla. Just the opposite, I think it is the most likely candidate.

As for Polaroid, if you're referring to the market of instant in-camera film processing, my guess is that Polaroid is the gorilla of that market.
