Scumbria - Re:"Doesn't Intel own a lot of AMD stock?"

The Intel 401k plan, like many companies, has an investment option for an S&P 500 index fund. Intel implements the fund itself by buying a unit of the S&P 500, instead of using Vanguard or someone as a fund manager. This is practical because of the large amount of contributions to the fund.

Thus, Intel owns as a 401k trustee a good bit of AMD and every other company in the S&P 500.

Scumbria,

Paul Damoaner over at Ace's says you are a fake....that you are a project supervisor that overhears snippets of real tech talk between the engineers and then passes it on. Is that true?

If so, I will have to take my tech questions elsewhere.
