Thanks for confirming Dell OutSources it's Inspirons

to those who doubted even that was true...

as for my Inspiron 7500; it finally came in
yesturday. "only" 3 weeks after I ordered it.
(keep in mind not a single item was on backorder,
so the delay was purely due to production problems
presumably with Window'2000 OS Based notebooks.)

Oddly enough, the salesperson who was assigned
to my transaction still did not have a clue about
it's status. I got the shipping tracking information
from a different department, and had to Email the
saleman informing her of her own companies shipments.

Just another symptom of the left hand not knowing
what the right hand is doing, over at DELL Computer.

I just ordered another Inspiron, this time a 5000e.
If I get a similar runaround with this purchase, I
will seriously look elsewhere for any more notebooks.
