Hi Scott, Next to riding thru the woods in my ATV's, riding my bike is as about as good as it gets. As for rain, I am cautious about going out when it has not rained for a while..... oil builds up in the road that comes to the surface when it finally rains.......... not fun when you only have two wheels on the ground....... as for riding in the rain after the oil is washed off the road..... no biggie to me either...... I ride in any condition except snow/ice on the road..... even sub-zero........... I don't take those long rides like you do, but that's more a function of time than desire. I have made several trips in excess of 100 miles..... need to build up the butt for anything longer though. Most of my trips are 25 miles or less, but lots of them :-) I do enjoy reading your experiences riding though..... one day that's me too ;-) Have a great weekend Scott, Ö¿Ö Tim
