Not really... Westell is #1 in ADSL modems.

Efficient still holds the lead in total DSL modems shipped, but in the fastest growing segment, ADSL, Westell was tops in the JunQ. Incidentally, MZ predicted this report would show Westell tops in ADSL shipments in answer to a question in the July conference call... so this wasn't really new news.

But for the future this bodes really well... the vast majority of residential installations are ADSL, and almost all self-installs are ADSL. Given these trends, this puts Westell in the catbird seat, being the leader in the fastest growing market segment.

Wish I understood what is motivating sellers at this level, but whatever. I bought a lot of shares Friday.

A fluff piece by ALA , but you get a good view inside a CO as well as what a remote looks like.
