LOL boy do I remember those days..I had a boy too.

He would say "I have a book report due tomorrow", and I would tell him that he'd better do it, then he would tell me that he hadn't read the book yet!

I actually had a dream right before his high school graduation that he was suppose to turn in a paper two days before graduation and he forgot to turn it in, and might not be allowed to graduate! In the dream, he told me this when they were in their caps and gowns, standing in line to graduate!

At the time, the dream wasn't that funny!
He's my computer geek! Marches to a different drummer!

Mine is in the 5th grade this year.

Last year (4th) was the beginning of the academics. Homework became harder to prepare for this year and all the ones to follow.

She plays after school, comes home has a snack, then homework. For some reason it takes forever to eat that snack. <gg>

The hardest thing is to have them understand WHY they are sitting there, and concentrating, to learn....I usually tried to have them tell me what they were going to learn before they sat down to study....sometimes that worked...If it was a nice night....4gidabotit...!
Relax this weekend...Best, K
