Hey Rocky Raccoon,

I was afeared you would say that, bein's how I'm long QCOM & all :-|

I respect your opinion RR & based on your investment style, I thought there was a reason QCOM had moved up to #2. BTW, there's no need to be apologetic for not liking a company (or choosing to avoid investing in it) when you have valid reasons. In fact, discussing all sides, both pro & con (in a reasonable & respectful manner) should be encouraged.

We're here to help each other on this here porch. Sometimes hearing the negatives & discussing them like adults helps make us better investors.... same goes for life my friend.

I await the day the RR is buying QCOM calls 4 to 6 months out ;-)

Thanks again,

Ö¿Ö Tim

QCOM is going to have to prove itself for several quarters with superior earnings

Well, you could be right.<gg>

As an alternative opinion consider the thesis that QCOM is a news driven stock. As such it is likely that QCOM will be up significantly prior to several quarters with superior earnings . Just a thought.
