I expected a different response from you re: George Will. Since you are a writer, which columnists do you associate yourself with from either a writing or a political point of view? What sort of writing-for-profit do you do? Magazine pieces, feature pieces for newspapers, books even? Please amplify on "I think you underestimate some of the participants on the board." (If possible name names; if this would be awkward for you to do, then send me a private e-mail.) I'm just curious as to who these people are and why I should hold them in higher esteem. Re the insults: I always try to respond with a milder insult than what was hurled at me. Re: the tenor of the board: What was the exact quote from "Pride and Prejudice" by Mr. Bennett ... something to the effect ... "our main purpose is simply to make sport of our neighbor"?
