OIL has had 2 one-year runs where they went up from (roughly) $5 to $50. One started in 1991 (the big discovery in Venezuela?) and the other one started last year. Check this chart:

puddle -- there was also a period in which OIL ran from 4 to 50 in less than a year --1991. So staring at sfy's recent low around 10 the equivalent would be 120 by Jan 2001.
