So what happens to our countries bread basket next year as farmers find the price of fertilizer may double or even triple or is unavailable at any price due to the closure of these plants due to the high price of NG.

How does one play this upcoming prospect and the undoubted increase in inflation that it will bring. Oh excuse me I forgot food and energy prices are excluded from the CPI.

Looking for plays 6 to 12 months out that could capitalize on 1) increasing inflation 2) pending recession. I would guess gold stocks would be one way but am looking for other ideas more under the radar so to speak. Defense stocks react well in tough times and have noticed along with the utilities that both have been strong of recent.

Missed the move in tanker stocks this spring which has even been more powerful than the E&P moves. Just wondering if anyone may have any thoughts on the matter. TIA
