i trade for a living and the point of these calls is to profit from them, not just call them, and that's precisely what i do.
Henry Blodget, a history major, was hired by Merrill Lynch with millions of dollars in salary, because of the only good call he ever made in his lifetime, saying AMZN would go to $ 400 in late 98 when AMZN was ALREADY on a tremendous roll without him (i remember it vividly, was long AMZN then), he just threw alcohol to the fire, akin to the ridiculous "QCOM to $ 1000" call early this year by whoever idiot it was.
these skills are in great demand, contrary to what you might think, so you can imagine whatever you want.
