Police do kill white people thinking the are carrying guns (all the time)- but no one does shows about it because they are white people. Black folks are probably shot disproportionately- but then they also commit a disproportionate share of crimes. I will give you another example. When fleeing criminal Rodney King was beaten for resisting arrest about a week later an almost identical incident occurred with a large drunk white guy. The white guy did not, I think, get any money. I saw the videotape of the white guys beating- it was very similar. I liked Michael Moore's TV Nation- I've liked both his movies- but sometimes he goes off half cocked.

The police went out and the woman locked her door and told them if they tried to break in she'd start shooting. A siege was formed. The next day the woman went out on her deck to get something and was shot with a stun bullet, big rubber bullet meant to knock people down. She made it back inside and came out wearing several overcoats to repel the rubber bullets and shot the cop in the legs with birdshot. They shut off her water, she had started saving water after they shot at her. They cut off her power and she lit oil lamps. After about ten days with everyone in the state rooting for her the woman talked with the mental health people. Turns out she was sane and it was all about an argument she had had with her daughter. As I remember the whole thing was dropped.
